Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 26, 2026
1. Our commitment
Metrik (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making our website and services usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide an experience that is accessible to users of assistive technologies and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.
2. Standards we work toward
We aim to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, and neurological differences.
We do not represent that every page or feature currently meets every WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criterion. Accessibility is an evolving standard and we work to improve over time.
3. Features we have built in
- Semantic HTML structure with descriptive page titles and headings.
- Keyboard navigation support across primary navigation, dialogs, tabs, and form controls, built on accessible UI primitives.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- A “skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Respect for the operating-system
prefers-reduced-motionsetting, reducing or removing non-essential animation for users who request it. - Pinch-to-zoom enabled on mobile devices and minimum input sizing to avoid unintended zoom on focus.
- Text-based labels on interactive controls where possible.
4. Known limitations
We want to be transparent about areas where the experience may not yet meet our accessibility goals:
- Some data-dense visualizations (depth charts, statistical tables, film annotations, and draft boards) may be difficult to consume with a screen reader. Where possible, the underlying data is also presented as text.
- Embedded film and video content may not include captions or audio descriptions, because much of it is sourced from third parties.
- Some imagery (player photos, team logos) may not include detailed alternative text beyond an identifying label.
- Third-party services we integrate with (including authentication and data providers) are outside our direct control, and their accessibility may vary.
We are actively working to improve these areas and welcome feedback that helps us prioritize.
5. Requesting accommodations
If you have difficulty accessing any part of Metrik, need information in an alternative format, or would like to request a reasonable accommodation, please contact us at support@metrikdfo.com. Please include:
- The page URL or feature where you encountered the issue.
- A description of the problem and the assistive technology you were using.
- Your preferred way for us to follow up with you.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within five (5) business days and will work in good faith to provide the requested information or an equivalent alternative.
6. Third-party content
Metrik displays content from third-party sources, including statistical providers, video providers, and community contributors. We do not control the accessibility of third-party content and cannot guarantee it meets the same standards as first-party Metrik content. If you encounter an accessibility barrier in third-party content, please contact us and we will work to provide an alternative where reasonably possible.
7. Ongoing review
We review our accessibility practices periodically and as we ship new features. This statement will be updated as our practices and the underlying standards evolve. No statement on this page should be construed as a guarantee, warranty, or representation that every page or feature is free of accessibility barriers at all times.
