Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Metrik (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a football intelligence platform (the “Service”). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — email address, username, password hash, display name, and any optional profile fields you provide.
  • Subscription information — tier, billing status. Payment details (card number, billing address) are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, and device/browser metadata, to improve the Service and diagnose issues.
  • Content you create — mock drafts, forum posts, scout reports, annotations, and other content you submit.
  • Communications — if you email us, we retain the messages to respond and improve support.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process subscriptions and billing via Stripe.
  • To send transactional email (password resets, billing receipts, account notices).
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party services

We rely on the following processors:

  • Stripe — payment processing and billing.
  • Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
  • Vercel — web application hosting and analytics.
  • Railway — backend API hosting.
  • Anthropic — AI-assisted report generation (no identifying data sent).
  • SportsDataIO — third-party football data.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update most fields from Settings, or email us at privacy@metrik.app.

7. Children

Metrik is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update the “Last updated” date when we make changes. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice.
